This week has not been a particularly good study week for me. I had to take last Saturday and Sunday off and still have not made up for them. For some reason, I still have not mastered that delicate balance between my CPA study schedule and the rest of life. Whenever I fall off my Study Ceremony, I have a really hard time getting back to the ritual. It's not that I'm not motivated, on the contrary I fell really guilty about the lost study hours. Especially when I look at my study calendar and see how many days behind I am. Today is Wednesday and I still have Modules from last Friday to complete. I need to plan better. I guess I need to put everything in one calendar and plan it down to the minute.
How do you keep everything on track? Are you a plan it in a calendar type of person or a whatever happens, just happens type of person?

The calendar is my best friend. It tells me what to do, when to do it and shows how much I have completed. It never lets me forget.
In my personal life, I plan EVERYTHING! I walk around with my iPad which holds my schedule and to do list.
So I decided I needed something to follow and answer to. I have all the lesson numbers charted out on a calendar that was free to download off the internet. The calendar stays with my study notes. For me, there is nothing worse than having to cross off a task (or lesson in this case) to reschedule it later on.
Hope this helps! I can send you the file I downloaded off the internet, if you need. Send me a Direct Message.... @njcpa2b
